My time flies. I am 3/4 of the way through my first trying semester of Law School. Halloween has now come and gone. I made it over to Halloween Haunt twice. Another great year over there.

Haunted Mansion Holiday rocks this year. The addition of Oogie Boogie was a terrific touch. The animatronic Oogie was one of the best I have ever seen. Have you counted all the Oogie surprises? Next week Small World Holiday will be unveiled which means probably this week the Christmas tree and other decor will go up. Deck the Halls! This means I need to replace my Dept 56 Halloween town with my Lemax Christmas Village.

Look's like Buzz Lightyear definately has an unoffical greenlight judging the fact that the NASA exhibit has now closed. If they would only close the Premier Shop and those pesky pin traders.

Cynthia Harris's departure was not completely unexpected, but sad since once again Disneyland management turnover has reared it's head. Things can only get better though, right?

Regardless, Chirstmas at Disneyland to me is Christmas.

I have started law school now on a part time basis along with my full time job. Life is busy. The Park is a great place to get away and relax. I should take some of my own advice and do just that.

I must mention that Kevin Yee's new trivia book is excellent for any Disneyland buff like myself. I also have taken his advice and I got a copy of Raiding the Magic Kingdom. Now with all the law school studying I will have to find time to read it.

Word has it that Tomorrowland is going to get worse. I don't know how much worse it could get, but I am sure there is a fix in the wings. It will be a surprise for everyone, if it wasn't we'd all know about it by now.

What better day to start out a blog for a Disneyland site, than today. The Park is 48 years old. While the magic is still there, depending on who you ask, the place has continued Walt's legacy faintly. He did say the place would never be completed as long as there was imagination left in the world. Well in 1995 we got Indy, in 1999 we got Tarzan's hijacked treehouse and now in 2003 we got Poohed on. Some imagination, huh?

What will the next 48 years hold? It boggles the mind. Higher prices, lower premiums for AP's. Less attractions and more shops, indeed. Sense of magic and excitement, without a doubt.
